Description

The Specter Power armor made by the peace keeping group Orthrus. Using MoWT power armor that Stable-Tec had managed to obtain before the end of the war, Orthrus revers engendered, and made their own power armor for their own Elite agents, the Specters. The manufacturing of the power armor started do to increasing hostility between the Valle Islands Republic and Orthrus, to be used as a counterbalance against the Republics cybernetic enhanced agents, the Reavers.

Unlike the standered power armor of war time Equestria, Specter power armor is much lighter, forgoing alloy plating for layers of ballistic weave, and hard polymer plating. This allows the armor to easily absorbs impact damage wile being easily, and cheaply replaced if damaged beyond reuse. Though not as durable as other power armor, the specter armor makes up with a multi talasman support system, that can be changed around for whatever the mission needs for it, from turning it into stealth armor, to using multiple magical armor talismans for prolonged fire fights, or becoming an unseen, teleporting sniper.

The main week points of the Specter Armor is its exposed hydrophilic leg supports, which will slow the user down if damaged, and its sensory vizor, that can be easaly distoyed if directly shot. Some solution have been made around thees week points, but most agents find the solution more a hindarance then help, stating that “If I just don’t get shot, then it’s not a problem.” With the Specter agents preference for stealth, Orthrus has not seen it necessary for any mandatory improvements on the power armor.
Though on the Marewaii Islands the production of the power armor is limited do to resources being scares, Orthrus is sure that if a reliable supply of raw resources can be obtained, the armor can be put into mass production.
