Make no mistake, Curt, this fandom is very cancerous. But there’s folks that don’t take it too seriously too. Most of them don’t bother speaking up because they get drowned out by the rampant stupidity of those who think MLP is srs bzns.
 
I love your work. Quality art and funny humor mixed with some classic gross-out. You do a great EG Twilight too.

I actually have always held that MLP is completely fine. My comic art has  
traditionally mocked the extreme end of the fandom. I think 90% of the fans  
are good people and that the pony cartoon is a splendidly designed toon.
 
I’ve never said anything otherwise. :)

What I hear, he delights in getting a reaction. And let’s be honest, this fandom’s a real easy target. We do most of the work for him by acting like morons (not everyone, obviously, but they are out there) and he just points out how stupid we look.
 
I find most of his work hilarious. Some of it is morbid as fuck, but I’m not so thin skinned that it bothers me. There’s much, much more gruesome stuff that we draw ourselves located right here on derpibooru, with much of it being praised by fetishists who get off to it.
 
By comparison, Curt’s work is like a dick joke.

Sure, he takes the piss out of the fandom, but that’s called humor and parody. And anyone who isn’t in need of a safe space is pretty capable of laughing at themselves.
 
He’s even created an OC, Pegaslut, on top of adopting EG Twilight as a popular character of choice.

Curt is one of us. He just can’t bring himself to admit it because he’s on the fringe.

In regards to the description, it’s a shame to hear an animator for 26 episodes is a perv’. Still, that doesn’t reflect on the fandom, or show makers.
 
Surprisingly, Curt even kinda defends bronies in the source link comments.
