I understand. I for one don’t agree with Appledash for my mentioned personal reasons, so making it ambiguous works for me if only so I wouldn’t need to take it at face value.
@Twi Clown
It’s ironic because while I’m more a fan of FlutterDash, Rarijack and TwiDash (because female nerd/jock pairings really do it for me) I don’t hate AppleDash and do see how they could have been a pairing.
AppleDash is far more subtle than Rarijack in Equestria Girls so it’s far easier to ignore. Not everyone who doesn’t like AppleDash is homophobic. That’d be like calling supporters of Fluttercord “paedophiles” because Discord is so much older.

Not really. Some people just don’t like appledash for many whatever reason, like not liking one or the two involved characters, thinking someone else should fit, not liking shipping altogether, people simply having different headcanons, not to mention considering how touchy feely this show can get we’d probably would need to lower our shipping goggle standards, some people also might disliked IRL being shipped with someone else that is just a friend and likely get a bit touchy with the subject, some people funnily enough disliked it because they’re tired of being senselessly accused and so on.
Mine are a mix between reason 1 and 5. The show is honestly corny at times and I’m also not the biggest fan of Applejack on a general sense.

Their conversation makes it clear that they live together and have for some time, so something must have happened to convince at least one of them to leave the house they owned the last time the subject of their residences came up and it can’t be just a short-term thing while one of their homes is damaged or otherwise rendered uninhabitable for them because being late because of chores is described as a chronic issue.
Them being a romantic couple is really the only explanation that makes sense with what we know about Equestrian culture from the show rather than inventing headcanons whose only basis in canon is coming up with a justification to allow Applejack and Rainbow Dash to not be a couple. I think the reason why people are so adamant in saying that Appledash isn’t canon is that people just have some problem over the idea of a same-sex relationship existing within the show for some reason. What’s the problem?

Actually, she’s bisexual. She had a crush on Soarin and other characters, but ends up with Applejack. Or considering she’s shipped with everything and everypony, she might as well be pansexual.
…On a serious note. I wonder how many people believed they weren’t lesbians after the proposal. Oh! They just got each other a friendship ring to wear.
it looks quite obv that she one by her mane and personality
No, CORDZ2000 was suggesting the exact opposite - that Dashie is a closet lesbian herself. ;D
is dashie homophobic

Just a lil internalised homophobia going on.
All we get in the episode is them walking in together and talking about helping with chores that teases it it does not confirm it

De Nile. It’s not just a river in Egypt. xP
not 100% canon

Double Standard.
The garrison strategy
You’re right
She’s at the very least bisexual if the ending is anything to go by. At least what the shippers think the ending is.

friendship rings?
like in Speacial Rings??
yeaahh
NO! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THESE TWO LIKE EACH OTHER IN THAT WAY!

Lesbians should eat each other!
Yeah, I know…she must be one of those damn Cretins…
:P (Yes I am well aware that a person from Crete would be a Cretan not a Cretin - but then the joke just plain wouldn’t work, so nyeh)
