Saw the colored version in my feed. Much better. In particular, the coloration of their manes isn’t really indicated her in the line-work, but is there in the colored versions. That totally changes the way their manes look, and is far more distinct. So even if the overall styling is out of their usual ‘do preferences, they still look more like themselves.
As for the accessories, they’re fine if a little generic. I still think they’d incorporate elements of their cutie marks into them though. It’s a strong personal preference of mine.

It also seems strange that none of them have incorporated her cutie mark among the jewelry and accessories in their getup.
