She did refer to ponies as though she wasn’t one. Maybe she really is Grogar. Maybe Grogar was in charge until Discord came along and after a fierce battle Grogar got turned into a cute filly by Discord because that’d be hilarious, and now he’s finally found a way to regain his power.

My headcanon is that they sent her to the Friendship School specifically because she was already problematic, thinking that studying under the Princess of Friendship would fix her. boy were they wrong.

You know, I couldn’t help but think up a theory about her - one part innocuous, one part sinister. The innocuous part is - what if she’s an orphan? It would seem to make sense, based on the fact that she traveled to the School of Friendship, and her parents are never shown (but who knows). The sinister part is - what if she killed her parents, either in furtherance of one of her grand schemes, or else just to prove to herself that she could and get away with it?

What if, Grogar is released at the beginning of the season, defeat all the heroes and beat him until the end of the season.
 
or as in “Avengers infinity war”, Grogar appears until the end of season 9, defeat all the heroes and destroy the tree of harmony and the whole series ends with a 2nd movie.
