Somehow, I think human version simply uses ropes and ladders to climb and then picks apples from the tree by hand. The old twist and pull directly method.
Indeed they are, especially when that mermaid is Applejack.
I still wonder what mermaid Applejack’s apple bucking style would look like. Would it be some sort of pivot onto one of her hands in order to twist around, launching into a swift horizontal spin kick with her fin to the tree, or a flip into a handstand leading to coiled tail thrust into the tree?
