Will Twilight adhere to Luna’s warning? Or will she continue to disregard what could possibly be the last bit of hope she had for making things right in the world she lives in?

Well this is Silfoe’s story, so who knows. Maybe there’s a plot twist involved we haven’t thought of yet.

I suppose that makes sense, but I mean, with how she reacted around Pinkie Pie when Twilight voiced her opinion about Pinkie, that didn’t seem like an abusive nature with Nightmare Moon, even if niceties cover up abuse.

Some abusers act nice. Sounds odd, I know, but it honestly makes it even more confusing for their victims.

I suspect the light grazing she got from Celestia’s attempt at using the elements softened her up enough to make her a competent ruler that wouldn’t accidentally kill all of her subjects.

I’m interested to see what Twilight’s choice will be once she finds out the truth. Even if it turns out NM has become a good ruler, she would still need the elements to tackle all the upcoming foes or at the very least, champions with the power to take them on. The Pillars are no longer there and the tree is without the Elements so no magical seed this time around here.

Fair point. But Nightmare Moon seems a lot more….. caring about the ponies, than demanding respect and eternal night. I suppose 1000 years may dull her demand, but at the same time, it’s still throws me in a state of confusion. That’s why, to me it feels the two sort of reversed roles in the matter of scaring vs being understanding.
 
But this is Silfoe’s AU story, so I’m interested to see how things progress and what the outcomes will be. They really know how to pull you into a story through visual storytelling.

Well, you get trapped in your own head for over 1000 years while being unable to rescue your imprisoned sibling and see how calm you are.

Is it just me or does it feel like Luna and Nightmare Moon switched roles? I mean, Luna honestly scared me last comic piece. So, I can understand how Twilight’s feeling right now.

I like where this story is going.
