Personally I want to see the internal crisis Twilight would experience getting that same notice. On one hand “MY BOOKS”, on the other “..but friendship!”

Okay, fine, but they still had to go there to deliver the note, so doing that instead of just delivering the damn box seems like kind of a dick move.

Sounds like DHL. Why anyone in North America selects them is beyond me – I’m looking at YOU, TeePublic. All they do is hang onto your package for a week, sit on or smash it, get sick of it rattling around the back of the van, and drop it at a local post office to let them handle delivery, usually in two days’ time.

Well its more imaginative than some of the other excuses I’ve encountered on those things. My ‘favorite’ is still the bizarre sleight-of-hand UPS did; “you didn’t sign the form, its on the way but we wont stop in your neighborhood today because reasons, we can’t let you pick it up at a UPS store because reasons, we know you signed the forms but you didn’t because we say you didn’t, its on the truck but the driver won’t drop it off because reasons.” This went on for a week and half. Finally somebody up the customer service chain realized that refusing to drop off the box with $300 worth of assorted Warhammer models–with receipts–plus two major complaints (the poor guy shipping me the stuff got an even more bizarre runaround and got just as angry if not more) was less cost-effective than dropping off the box and raised Cain on my behalf.
 
TL; DR screw UPS. Sorry for the rant.
