I agree to that as well, Starlight should return, just one last time.

Yeah, I felt the two had good chemistry, had some things in common, and would make good friends. I wouldn’t mind more of them, but as I said it’s unlikely now, and was probably meant as a one time thing.
 
Also, I don’t get the double standard that “Sunset should always be the hero/save the day,” but fans hate Starlight whenever she contributes to saving the day too. It reminds me of when fans used to hate on Twilight for usually solving problems. Nothing against Sunset, but it seems odd she’s the only character immune to it.  
Probably, ‘cause she doesn’t appear as much as Starlight & Twilight, but she is a very prominent character in the EqGirls spinoff series.

Honestly, that’s kind of why I want her to appear again - to possibly remedy those issues. Plus, her friendship with Sunset was very much underexplored in the special, and I just want to see her human design complimented by better writing.
 
I don’t even think Mirror Magic was that bad, it just put what should’ve been the main focus onto the side.

After all the drama about her appearing in EqG, (Which really upset Sunset fans, because they want Sunset to appear in the main pony show, and find it unfair that Starlight can appear in both, which fuelled more Starlight-hatred. Some were also upset Starlight had to save Sunset, instead of the other way around.) I doubt they’ll ever bring her back again. Plus it seemed like a one-time thing.
 
More slumber parties or characters bonding would be nice.

Yeah and hopefully she returns to the human world possibly just to hang out more, maybe to learn more about what humans do in their everyday lives(except the suggestive stuff) and hopefully we get a slumber party episode like that one scene from rainbow rocks, hopefully all of this would happen.

Frankly, I enjoyed it better then the other linked half-hour shorts. (Especially, how they toned down Sour Sweet into a rather dull character,)
 
And while some hated Starlight “stealing Sunset’s glory,” I actually enjoyed her guest appearance, and she actually makes a good foil for a character like Sunset, and I enjoyed their interactions.

Yeah, mirror magic alone wasn’t that bad.

Y’know, I didn’t think that half-hour short was so bad. I’ll even say I liked her design.
