One thing does puzzle me though…
 
Rainbow Dash is still flying here. Does Cozy’s spell only affect unicorns and alicorns with taking away their magic that enables spell-casting, or in the case of the Royal Sisters, cause their manes and tails to stop sparkling and flowing naturally? I ask because Celestia and Luna didn’t consider flying to Ponyville immediately after being warned by Neighsay, choosing to walk, and only then using their wings once their magic was returned, which confuses me.

Huh, that’s a nice catch. I hadn’t noticed that before. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, considering this is Pinkie we’re talking about…

Gotta like the Mane Six’s reaction here. One minute, Twilight realizes they’re too late and it looks like they’ve failed and Equestria’s magic is gone for good. The next, they realize that, somehow, someone or something was able to save the magic at the last second and return it to its rightful owners.
