I REALLY hope they don’t retcon him. There’s a minority of people who like the character.
 
I think Spitfire is a generic character.

But seriously, Royal Wedding just needed a few dancers and RD didn’t have a partner. You’re right though. We saw Apple Fritter and Fancypants in those pictures and they got to be in an episode as bg ponies at least. (Same episode too)

I really want to him back into an episode with a speaking roll. I want him more than just a pie joke. :\
 
He didn’t appear last season’s poster and I suspect he’s not going to be in this season’s poster either.
