Or Maybe their working for a warlord that will threaten to enter stable he lives on if the ravangers don’t do as he says and exchange he gives them supplies and slaves like spring Dawn’s dad I think

Since this is a Fallout story there’s a 50% chance that their stable is actually under the equivalent of New Vegas or Diamond City and the Reaver’s stories about the surface being super dangerous is mostly bullshit and a means of keeping the population under hoof. Heck since this is Fallout Equestria, if this takes place after the original story’s epilogue, the world outside might be well on its way to recovery as a whole.
 
Granted since this is Fallout, there’s also a 50% chance everything is accurate and there’s a rogue alicorn nest just down the road from the entrance the Reavers have to sneak by all the time that Spring would probably blunder right into.
