It just occurred to me that because he grew up alone, Gallus would be super excited to be a dad and would dedicate himself to being the best father ever!
 
Which is why Silver is smiling; his enthusiasm for being a dad reminds her every day why she loves him.

It always warms my heart to see these two so happy together.

Considering Silverstream comes from the royal family, I always thought it’d be the standard “thou shalt not date a filthy peasant of another species” that’s usually associated with this type of romance. Which, in mlp, would actually end up being pretty adorable.

EDIT: Now I wonder how the other hippogriffs and seaponies react to this–Gallus probably is the first non-hippogriff male that is romantically involved with a hippogriff…I bet that Sky Beak and Ocean Flow are pretty find that their oldest child is happily dating with someone that loves her back–I wonder if they get on Terramar though since he’s not dating anyone…
