It would look funny to see such a slender figure as her roar like a beast – it would not sound intimidating, but pleasant and too sweet to be a threat!

First off, I wouldn’t had included Lightning Dust to begin with since she’s not a villain. As for Chrysalis, you would shoot my idea down since it would actually give Chrysalis some sympathy.
What do you think those two characters would have done instead, so not to make them poorly-written?

Not really. She is just a lesser boss, while the super bosses are Umbrum that Sombra will face later.
If she can’t be a useful aid to most season openings and finales, at least she has learned to handle that well.
