Well well well, Discord is a mother once again, this time he was toting around none other than Pinkie Pie’s spawn!
 
While childbirth is typically considered a beauty to behold, Discord of course doesn’t have the ability to produce anything beautiful. Or even graceful for that matter. Neither Pinkie or Discord were aware of his pregnancy, only noticing that he was going through weird stages such as the nesting stage where he would collect Better Stables and Gardens magazines and constantly rearrange the small cottage he shared with Pinkie Pie filling it with soft pillows and downy blankets, or the fact that he had been coughing up confetti sprinkles for the past few months. All weird behaviors but what can you expect from a Chaos God?
 
The day Funfetti’s egg was lain was a momentous day in Equestrian history! Not because of a the egg laying, but because it was the day of Flurry Heart’s crowning ceremony. All the royals were there, Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and even ambassador’s from far off lands of Equestria attending the momentous occasion. It was as Cadence was crowning her daughter when the coughing and gagging happened. Discord tried to stifle it at first, but quickly became choked up, resulting in a massive heave and wheeze that launched the large egg out of his throat and directly into the back of Flurry Heart’s head, rending her unconscious and her new crown broken.
 
This of course caused a ton of confusion. Would the princess be okay? Was the egg okay? Why was there even an egg to begin with? Luckily everything turned out fine after some ice for Flurry and awkward congratulatory messages to Pinkie and Discord. After the ceremony the Draconequus and his new egg were allowed to leave the event without any hesitation, though the crowd was buzzing with excitement for the new princess as well as a potential new royal birth.
 
Funfetti was clearly a being to be reckoned with before she even hatched.
