I thought so, too, at first. But on closer inspection, you can see that there is an outer brown border and an inner green border, just like in the first panel. The little green lines going across are still the words and pictures.

Spike has never shown any interest to Rarity at all in this series. They’ve never had any attraction nor has she shown any to him.

I must have missed something with regard to the Rarity and Spike dynamic in this series, as I would have expected him to be all over her after she broke up with her coltfriend. I know that he is currently with Lily, but there was a decent interval between the two events during which he could have made his move.
