Wow, that’s actually really good! One thing I would note is that Smolder’s ear fronds are soft like Spike’s; they’re not hard, and not horns. Jim Miller said this himself on Twitter.

It’s about time we got a Smoulder model.

not from what I have seen… try to get a sfm only model into gmod and the whole thing breaks, the model is stuck in one pose and you cant change it… also I am saying this AS I have learned how to pose sfm models(it was such a pain in the ass but I figured it out) although gmod is still easier when it comes to posing(except for fingers) that and you can usually build much more complex things for scenebuilds(like the machine from contact in my most recent pic) sfm may look better sure but it still has a user interface that is at the least frustrating(I have learned how to pose and move things but its gonna be a long while before I animate)

Dude its the same engine and format. Every sfm model works with gmod. Its all source engine mdl files. Only rigging could be better/worse.

I dont even really want to do all the animations and stuff I would just be content with posing and making scenes WHICH I CAN DO PERFECTLY WELL IN GMOD case in point the one I just uploaded

the reason I am so angry is because sfm the needlessly confusing program it is keeps hogging all the good models and leaves nothing good for its easier to use counterpart garrys-mod… I honestly think modelmakers have something against gmod… I just wish sfm could have an easier to use version(with a physics world like gmod) that kept the visuals and animation techniques but had an easier to understand layout and ACTUAL TUTORIALS instead of the “here it is figure it out yourself with no help” mentality

Why are you so yaying angry? Are you the one creating the models? You’re giving this person a hard time when you’re using his work for free?
 
So what if sfm is difficult to learn? Once you get it, you can make some stunning animations (with someone else’s hard work). I haven’t learned everything about sfm, but that’s because I haven’t taken the time to. Just because you won’t take the time to learn it, doesn’t mean you get to come and berate the guy whose model you expect to use that YOU didn’t make.

I KNOW ABOUT THE MOVIES!!! its just sfm could stand to be a little easier to use… The entire reason i never went back to sfm was how goddamn counterintuitive it is and how few tutorials i find… At least with gmod you can figure it out in 20 seconds rather than someone trying sfm for hours on end TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE GODDAMN LAYOUT and what each button does i swear to jesus they made it intentionally confusing for new users because i could not figure out how to make a 1 second clip to save my life… Plus what i like about gmod is its simple, effective if you know what to do, has a physics based world, and doesnt have a bajillion buttons that serve no apparent purpose other than confusion
