He survived being burnt alive and thrown into the frickin’ Grand Canyon after being declared Damnatio Memoriae. And before that, he’d survived supposedly dying at the hands of the NCR’s best snipers no less than five times. Even after the whole thing with being burnt and thrown into the canyon, he changes his own bandages every day despite the searing pain and being immune to painkillers. On top of all of that, his damage threshold is 50, which is higher than the player character can get without bonuses from the Old World Blues DLC
