This was my childhood school.It’s located at 500 W Hillcrest Blvd in Hoffman Estates, IL 60169  
This school serves students kindergarten though 8th grade. They used to have preschool but, they moved into another building in the 2008-09 school year I think. The classroom system goes like this: Kindergarden-1st grade, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, and 6th-8th. I attended there from preschool to 8th grade and I was the class of 2010. This school was built in 1961 as Hillcrest School.I believe it closed in after the 1997-1998 school year. They went though major renovations and it was opened as Lincoln Prairie School for the 1999-2000 Year. The school is named after the Illinois nicknames of the Land of Lincoln and the Prairie State. The mascot is surprise, surprise, a Prairie Dog. The school colors are green and gold.
