Also this scene made me d’aww the most compared to almost anything else previously in Equestria Girls. Sunset is truly Best Human.
No, because shipping implies that you want two characters to get together, but i don’t want these two to get together, i ship Sunset and Twilight.
I’m pretty sure that counts as low-key shipping it.
True, but her using it caused her to grow from “weirdo kid” to “supervillain” without even realizing it.
She’s only had the stone for an unstated but apparently relatively short time frame. Imma assume anywhere from a week to a month.
She’s had a problem with being unnoticeable since at least the third grade.
Her erasing embarrassing memories of herself ain’t helping, but she didn’t cause her problem.
Sunflower. rim shot
Oh, this! That makes perfect sense!
It’s a product of anxiety and low self-esteem gone out of control.
It’s more tragic than that. The reason no one remembered Wallflower was she was going around erasing every memory of her awkward introductions to people. The problem was, ALL her introductions were awkward, so she ended up erasing herself from everyone’s memory. That just feed her loneliness and social isolation, like a horrible positive feedback loop gone out of control.
Wallflower unwittingly created the circumstances that caused her to turn to villainy.
It’s easy to overlook because it was glossed over in a couple of sentences, but part of the problem is the initiative she was taking to erase any memory of embarrassing things she’d done. Apparently, she was so used to doing this that she’d erased any impression she’d made on the people around her. While Sunset and Trixie were self absorbed, their inability to remember her from earlier school years may not be entirely their fault.
Her solution was worse than her problem. I can understand how that might make her even harder to like, but I got the impression that she’d resigned herself to the fate she’d created. It’s easy to see why that would leave her such a deep resentment for someone so well liked despite all the things everyone remembered about her.
She was clearly mentally unstable and lashing out at the closest target so she could be mad at anyone but herself. The greatest enemy we are afraid of facing is our own reflection. Sunset has faced that reflection and come out stronger for it and everyone likes her now. She’s jealous, and believes that others should like her without making any effort to establish relationships herself. Juniper does something similar but puts in effort not to make friends, rather she just wants to be adored by just being there. Similar desires, different methods and goals

Shannon Chan Kent. Pinkie Pie’s singing voice.
She tried speaking up many times. But everyone just forgot about her anyways.
Trixie forgot her name like 10 seconds after hearing it.
