Personality/Background
 
Daughter of Pinkie Pie and Party Favor, Rose is a mare and takes more after Pinkie Pie in terms of personality. She’s bubbly and sweet but often naïve, tending to put a lot more trust in ponies than they might deserve. Rose works at Sugarcube Corner alongside Pinkie Pie, and her special talent involves crafting exquisite and delicate desserts (she got her cutie mark after working on a bouquet of hard-candy roses for a week straight). Rose is passionate about her work and tends to get lost in it sometimes, occasionally forgetting to eat while she’s crafting her latest project (although Demeter’s frequent visits ensure that she does eat).
 
Relationships
 
Rose is very close to both of her parents, and both of them dote on their two daughters. She’s more physically affectionate with them than Charlotte and isn’t afraid to ask for hugs whenever she needs them (she’s not too cool to not hug her mom).
 
Rose admires Charlotte’s steadfast patience and calm demeanor and is ever so slightly younger than her. Charlotte tends to treat Rose like an irritating younger sibling but loves her fiercely nonetheless, taking her defense whenever somepony makes fun of her. Rose has a huge crush on Demeter and tends to act like a lovestruck filly whenever she’s around (much to her dismay, Demeter has been oblivious to all the hints she’s been dropping) and loves spending time with her. She admires Demeter’s soothing nature and kind heart, and how she exudes calmness whenever she enters a room (Rose finds herself becoming calmer when she’s around Demeter). Blitz is one of Roses’ best friends and the two confide almost everything in each other, from school drama to troublesome classwork to super-secret crushes. Blitz is well-aware of Roses’ crush and Demeter and is persistent in nudging Rose to actually be up-front about her feelings. Rose makes excuses almost every time the opportunity arises.
 
Extras
 
Rose inherited a form of Pinkie Pie’s Pinkie Sense (which her mother has dubbed her “Rosie Sense”). It doesn’t do much besides indicate when a piano is about to fall on her, which is surprisingly often.
 
Demeter often calls Rose “Rosie,” and is the only friend of hers to do so. The nickname never fails to make Rose blush, and she tries to counter it with all sorts of silly nicknames for Demeter, but none of them have stuck (yet).
