Yeah you’re not wrong on the leg placement. Sterling’s tail I feel would be short and so it’d be more curling up onto Silver Spoon’s flank and thus not visible. Something to keep in mind for the future; I’ve been pretty out of the art scene for awhile.

You should still have made them slightly visible in my opinion.  
If she’s lying on her hind legs, then her belly should not look like it’s flat on the ground.  
If they’re stretched out, then some tiny part should be visible to the left of Sterling.  
If she’s lying in such a way that her hind hooves are resting towards the background, then a tiny part should still be visible.  
Right now you’ve drawn it so it almost looks like Silver Spoon only has front hooves and nothing more, just a blob for a belly. And where’s Sterling’s tail?
