The filters can counteract the leaks(at least in this site) as long as they have the right tag.
Oh you can use the the filters without an account, they just won’t save after you’ve exit the site, and you can’t edit them.

No because for the most part I didn’t know that the site existed and you had to have an account to use the filters, but once the leaks got worse I joined.
Mainly because you forgot that derpibooru has a filtering system, right?
Let me put it this way, after dealing with EQD for a number of years and having to avoid spoilers on Tumblr and other sites that’s when I joined Derpibooru and abandoned ship almost everywhere else.
I don’t why you avoided derpibooru for 5 years sence, considering it’s more friendler then /MLP/, why would you avoid derpi?
You know, in any other circumstance you might’ve had a point there. Except I never said I didn’t care.
I’ve been in the fandom since before Season 2 started, I avoided Derpibooru for the first 5 years it was online, and along with at least 2 other people in this comment section I’ve never step a foot anywhere near /MLP/.

But still, the result is the same, people get annoyed, if we talk about effort and quality of the post, obviously porn is gonna have the upper hand over shitposts. But removal or ban of shitposting, just because it annoys people, is hypocritical considering that other post also annoys people.
But if the mods want to create and enforce that rule, is not of my business, its their site after all and they decide what can be posted on it.
Shitposting is one thing, porn(in general) is another, also if it’s rape/gore, I surely can’t have that removed, considering that well obviously a good amount of people don’t like that.
But by that logic many porn/fetish posts (or anything with downvotes for that matter) should get deleted because they annoys people.

Shitposting shouldn’t be allowed anyway, because it just annoys people, and nobody likes that.
But still, if the site make a rule against shitposting, then what is going to be considered as shitposting? Memes doesn’t create any constructive conversation about the show and most of them are low effort edits (like mine). In theory this is an art website, so anything that isn’t art (like gif, screencaps, meme of the month) should be deleted, but at the same time, memes are for of art because is a representation of the creator’s imagination and his internal conceptual idea of comedy…. I need to get a life
If an image is made specifically to attack one or more people, it breaks rule 0. However, controversial images do not always break rule 0, even if they are intended to bait other people into breaking that rule.
