Well, there was a number of people who did, and I personally even like him. I don’t think he is a bad character per see, even though his romance with isn’t well written. For example, he had some pretty amusing interactions with Applejack in Turf War.

Yeah, Gloriosa’s got really the short end of the stick, including both not appearing after Legend of Everfree, and the fact in her own movie, she got fairly little meaningful screen-time in her own movie - as even a lot of her appearances, weren’t really devoted to her development, and even counting these, it’s fairly little for a main antagonist
 
This is kinda jarring seeing she was the first character and design revealed for LoE, as well as the fact her scenes with Timber, I think develop him arguably more than his scenes with Twilight, except the one were he elaborates on his past…
