These type of bootlegs are always odd, when they just put fanart and stock images together and sometimes they don’t even look similar.

And the Rainbow Dash vector is this one, although this isn’t sourced either. I couldn’t find the source, just weird Pooh’s Adventure style mega-crossover wikis. I think the OP deleted their account in the many years since the image’s creation.

Crystal Pinkie Pie appears to have been taken from one of the stock vectors, it’s the same one featured on the S3 box art. It might be a traced vector by a fan, though.

I think the idea is for parents who don’t watch it to see colorful horses for cheaper than the ones in big stores and buy ‘em for their kids. A lot of moms wouldn’t notice that Twilight’s got Dash’s hairstyle on this package.

You have to wonder, are the Chinese really so insulated that they don’t realize this is a knockoff? I mean, they have to have seen SOME of the actual show, if nothing more than vector art, and most of these knockoffs look nothing like the real thing.

No that’s Cat Starcher, a very important horseapeg in the Mini Cartoon Horse Sweet Horse universe. Her wings are so pretty really are pasted on just like that!

Oh boy, I can hardly wait for the next season of Mini Cartoon Horse! XD

Gotta love how MADE IN CHINA is the same size font as almost every other font on the package (or maybe larger). As if they need to drive the point of where it’s made home. lol

And the bootleg logo uses a G3 pony (not sure which one) with sparkly wings pasted on.
