I was greatly inspired by the anatomy guide series by GhostlyMuse so I tried to seriously draw for the first time in years. As you can see, I can’t even make clean lines with my tablet nor could I come up with good shading. Regardless, it is still better than the artwork that remains uncreated. If only I could 3D print a model of this griffon, because painting is much more within my grasp than 2D work.
 
The griffon featured is Voss Corsair, a character I created for Equestria at War after I had so much fun playing as Aquileia:
 
Voss is an ardent anti-monarchist despite growing up in Equestria due to Celestia’s poor handling of the Stalliongrad crisis (plus his friend being caught in the mess) plus numerous nobles and monarchs making a grand old mess of the Griffonian continent. He soon puts his ideals into practice when he returns to Aquileia to join the second revolution to restore the republic. After years of conflicts culminating in a final showdown with the Griffonian Empire, the Changeling threat results in Voss being obliged to work closely with Equestrian royalty as an attaché to improve co-operation between the coalition members…
