Don’t worry. I agree that it’s a shame that her character and backstory hasn’t been developed further. It was one of the hopes that I had with Sunset Shimmer: she could fill us in on what Celestia was like before Twilight and co came along
I don’t think the way to do it is to worf her and use her only as expositon… you know?

But now that you’ve told me that, I have no desire to see it. There wasn’t even a monologue by Celestia at the end?
I’m getting really discouraged and think that they’re trying to get rid of Celestia.
