666 is the number of the beast and the number of a man. God created man on the 6th day. Carbon is the 6th element and contains 6 protons, 6 neutrons, and 6 electrons. An equilateral triangle has 3 60 degrees. If you add up 144 digits on the pi symbol, you get 666. 444 and 999 is 666 if you rotate it. The Dow went down 666 points. The first Apple computer costed $666.66. The Disney logo has three 6’s.

Now comes super-sized!
Truthfully, “666” has been referenced, or joked about so much on the internet, (including being featured on a quarter of every screen-name online ever made) it’s kinda lost all it’s “edge” on me. I don’t get why it’s still popular.  
Besides, as a not-very superstitious christian, I don’t believe you should let a mere number scare you.
 
Funny thing is, there’s even an old Daffy Duck cartoon from the ‘40s or ‘50s that featured a hotel room door number with it on there. (And yes, the patron of it wasn’t very lucky putting up with Daffy’s insanity.) So that gag’s been around forever.
