You… haven’t read Speak, have you. XD Cause if you did, you’d realise that uh… that’s probably not going to be happening anytime soon.
 
Point of note as well, I don’t write stories for the pleasure of straight men and their desire to get off. I write stories because it’s fun, and I appreciate every piece of art that an artist decides to make of it. Also the bit about the straight people that want it to happen is rather small. I have a straight couple in the story. Two, actually, and they are quite adorable. Threnody is cute, she’s just a psychological mess, and is not likely to be engaging in anything beyond smooches in the near future.
 
But you’d have to read the story to know that, and it’s fairly clear you haven’t, and merely wished to complain here about small horses kissing other girl horses.

I hate to tell you this, but I’m the author and I’m a lesbian irl. I have been writing Threnody as trying to figure herself out, without pushing her one way or the other. Because really, who she wants to bed doesn’t matter. If she decides she likes mares, that’s okay. If she decides she likes stallions, that’s okay too. If she decides she’s bisexual, that’s also perfectly fine. One of the points I made when writing Speak was to try to avoid bringing any homophobia into the story. It’s one of my massive criticisms of Kkat and Somber’s works, because it’s not necessary to the story, and isn’t something that needs to be brought from the human world into ponies. Even a wounded world of ponies like Fallout: Equestria.
 
So who does she like? She likes who she likes, and she doesn’t have the words or feelings to express that right now. And that’s ok too.

Well, technically she’s bisexual because it’s stated she’s attracted to Bubblegum. However, in this pic it’s just her and Blackjack, so tacking on “bisexual” doesn’t thematically fit AND people may just assume the tag is applying to Blackjack, if at all.

No, why? Why is Threnody lesbian? I like this cute pony, but I don’t like lesbians. Author of the fic, this is cruel.
