I dunno how the show will retcon it, but I have to admit the umbrum, canon or not, are a worthy addition of the pony lore
In my experience the children (5 years old, was it?) were doing okay with the artwork alone; rather, it was the voice I gave Rabia that started them crying. I had to agree to tone it down for the arc’s finale issue.
I love that the comic staff are so fine with traumatising children.
