Yeah, even though it wasn’t all to apparent in his previous works, the cartoon pony heads on the realistic human bodies look strange.  
He could either draw their heads more humanlike with smaller eyes, and cheeks that stand out more (less oval heads).  
Or he could try to make their bodies more cartoon like.

Oh god… is it just me or do the heads look just so weirdly… out of place? Like they don’t connect with the rest of the body’s anatomy?
