I miss the show so much
That would make a nice fanfic. Take some of the craziest episodes (like Lesson Zero or Too Many Pinkie Pies) and rewrite it from the point of view of some background pony, or ponies. They’re just trying to live their lives. There would be multiple background ponies whose paths cross with each other and with the mane six. How the events affect their lives, etc. and obviously they won’t know everything that happens.

You really gotta wonder how the average citizen feels about all the crazy shit the Mane Characters drop onto their lives. That could be the reason nobody respects them for their world saving.
