I hate being this guy, I swear I do, I really am not trolling, but the problem is with that is Luna appears to not age the same as other ponies. She might outlive moondancer by a phenomenal degree.
Both Luna and Moondancer spent their lives in isolation. Luna by punishment and Moondancer by choice. Luna’s had a chance to work out her demons but while both have learned the value of forgiveness Moondancer still deals with a lifetime of regret. What if i’d gone out? Who could I have been instead of this socially awkward, lonely pony I am now? Luna helps her through all these issues and while doing do they see things they share in common. The primary one being their love of the moon.
After all-it’s in both their names. All this leads them to falling in love.
