Motherhood can be full of love, laughter and purpose, but it can also be full of screaming, tearing and a whole lot of running around trying to catch a baby before it accidentally kills itself. Seriously it like these furballs want to die.

Twilight: A strong, organized and capable mama but she is afterall dealing with 3 medical oddities chock full of magic that can spontaneously disappear in a blink of an eye. Poor twilight and Discord spent nearly half the day chasing after the little rugrats who where tinier then a regular foal but 3 times more mobile. Eventually through careful (and very forced) conversation with the other main six Twilight eventually agreed to hire like 4 nannies to give her and discord the ounce of sleep they needed. Discord jokes that she physically and mentally learned to cut her hair loose.
 
 
Rainbow:Thunderclap was tiny but he had the scrappy (and bitey) energy of any griffon baby. Oh and did I forgot to mention that Thuderclap could fly!. Well not really more like little guy was constantly drawn to high places and nose diving down trying to figure out how to fly.(let me tell you there has been maaany close calls of Rainbow diving headfirst to catch the kid) Sometimes he’d actually catch a breeze and soar for a bit as shown in this picture. :D (Big Grin)
 
Rarity: To the outside world Iridescent wasn’t really that difficult of a baby besides her random energy blasts and her incessant need to crawl into every crawl space imaginable she was actually a pretty calm baby and slept through all her nights. However Rarity still cries to this day about all the antiques and fabrics Irie either shredded or broke.
 
 
Fluttershy:as mentioned before Amethyst did not want a little sister to take all attention away from her. As such whenver the mamas turned their back dhe’d kinda pick on Marijoane olets just say Mari was really…sensitive aka a crybaby. As such shed sob at any negative remark Amethyst made and this only served to make Amethyst ever more annoyed at her little sister and thus a fight would break out. Poor Fluttershy is kinda lost for words because she can’t just spray water at them or distract them with a carrot like she can with her animals.
 
 
Applejack:lastly is the most blessed and easy-going baby of them all! HoenesTea really hit th jackpot as both mamas were calm, cool and have previous experience with children. Cheerilee with her many years of being a foal teacher and Applejack practically raising AppleBloom with her fam. HT did go through a period of sickness and both mama had been worried but they both handled her sickness period pretty well and she soon got better. Here lies a tired sick HT sleeping ontop of her warm waterbottle blanket.
 
 
What don you guys think? So often motherhood is portrayed as something mother’s easily and instinctually adapt to knowing anything and everything that has to do with their children so I thought i’d doddle some stressed mamas trying desperately to figure out how to function.
