Actually, this outfit is more accurate to the animation, due to shape, color, and the added detailing to the bottom and neck of the dress. Not to mention they actually gave her shoes even more straps this time.

The whole point of this line is to give kids a “dress-up” set, so of course they gave her a jacket. I’m pretty sure they’re giving each pair of dolls like 2 different jackets in the pack. As for “more detail” I don’t think that’s true.
