@Phantom Rider
I wouldn’t call it edgy more of an ability over think it and to go down logical but un-intended/unseen paths the orginal author’s never saw.
Example, before Michael J Fox, Was cast to Play Marty Mcfly. A previous actor was slated to be Marty but he kept getting hung up on the fact with history changed. That Marty’s family was essentially replaced with strangers. Since Marty inadvertently made George Mcfly grow a spine and the knock on effects those changes had. The actor couldn’t get into the mental headspace to deliver the proper profomance.
In short… some people just overthink themselves into pessimism..
Now I feel depressed quick someone show me pictures of ponies being cute and a adorable.
@Raneko
Well, different works use different rules. For this series, we have the visuals of the components in the fusions’ headspaces, and the creator’s statement (bold added by me for the sake of this one; the quote comes from >>1956174)
Well, they’re not technically dead since their individual personalities/personal profile are saved all on the single platform that is the fusion body which is comprised of their collective mass/bodies to form one single vessel with four advisory but independent personalities that indirectly influence the decisions and actions that the body takes. While also forming the individual and independent personality of the fusion.
So, there’s no mystery as to the rules here, just one person trying to be edgy and or whatever by pretending it works very differently than the way we know it does, and who is best ignored.

Well let’s use young heart as an example the individual physical existance of Dinky, Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo. Has ceased they no longer exist as individuals that one can interact with. Sounds like death to me. I’ve never watched DBZ or Steven universe. The only experience i have with the concept of FUsion, is Star Trek Voyager’s episode of Tuvix. Also it’s by Author’s Fiat that the (most of) audience knows that fusion doesn’t = death. But in universe… oh boy the issue wouldn’t be as clear cut and are most are waiting for reality ensue. (Which is weird because we’re talking about a world of talking technocolor ponies. . Blame TV tropes)

Again with the subjective opinion that they died because they fused.
By that logic then every time the characters in Steven Universe or Dragonball Z fused then they temporarily died or in the SU case some have been dead forever because of how long they stayed fused.
At least now The Castle of Friendship would have a proper KING & QUEEN (ruling over Ponyville).
-> I suppose Morning still runs Sweet Apple Acres (having TWO farmer earth ponies as components).
-> All 4 of Mythic´s components lived in/near Ponyville, so she should be there too (mostly caring Fluttershy´s animals), since Rarity´s bussiness could just “run itself” with Coco & Sassy´s help. Starlight & Zecora can continue their “hobbies”.
yes…
God, how do I understand you
Cute… but in magical lesbian spawn kind of way..
Like, Lyra and Bon Bon making sure they’ll never be parted?

Conquer the galaxy for pony kind is what we shall do.
Fun fact: did you know bulk biceps was actually Celestia’s first shot at a space marine!
The more you know
And what do you do when you’re one planet-sized godpony?
Well, you create another world full of ponies…
…and leave a vial of a certain potion on a random table for some unsuspecting ponies to find…
…and sit back and enjoy the show.
The imperium of Pony
May the slaughter continue, For NOPONY can expect the fusion inquisition!!!
An excellent idea. Now what flavor of vodka should I drink to punch out the script, raspberry or peach?
Tis when I’m wasted that I’m most productive surprisingly.
Obviously, it’s time to go stick the others’ parents together too! Well, except Apple Bloom, whose parents are deeeeead.
MURDER, she wrote!!
