Background Pony #E226
@Durabiznik
I read these kinds of arguments, and all I can hear is “You still wear that shirt?! Girl, it’s Febuary 1st, leave that bad taste in January!”
Jokes are jokes, and there will always be someone who finds a joke funny. If you don’t find a joke funny, it’s not a “dead” joke, it’s just that you in particular don’t find it funny anymore. Don’t be an elitist and act like there’s an objective lifespan on funny, and you don’t have to agree either. Just get over yourself and let people have fun with harmless humor.

@Dsiak
It really depends, though, doesn’t it? You can have trash bread in one piece and a great sliced bread.
Granted, you thoroughly ruin a good bread by slicing it, dropping it in a plastic bag and leaving it in there for a week, but if you compare it to a real cheap bread, then it’ll still win easily.
Unless you compare it when the cheap one is right out of the oven, all warm and crispy, at that point just about any bread tastes amazing.

No one ever said it was a bad thing. Why can’t things like this just be entertaining? Post it on Facebook, instant hundreds of likes/shares. Post it here and the downvote brigade swoops in. I seriously wonder how many hours some of them spend a day downvote camping.

It’s a low effort, low quality, low energy edit of a washed out, facebook-tier, mom-grade joke.
If you really wanted your upboats so desperately, then you probably should have posted it on Facebook instead, where people sustain on endlessly editing and reposting tired jokes to each other until they kill it completely, and then go on regardless, to a point where you can hardly even make sense of anything amidst the thriving colonies of JPG artifacts, some of them nearly two decades old. And - more importantly - where it is straight out impossible to express your dislike without commenting and therefore exposing yourself to the angry backlash from people who thought their joke was the best thing since sliced bread and feel the urge to browbeat anyone else into either agreeing or never saying anything.
For the record, I did not downvote it.
