I mean, we have tons of fanmade 3D SFMs that are truly well-made.
You say that now, until they make them irresistibly cute.
I’ll be willing to give 3DCG ponies a chance. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the medium, it just depends on the skill of the designers and animators. Ponies have been 3D as toys for decades, so they should translate well.
