That’s the best argument, outside of “shorts are not canon”
 
And there it is ladies and gentlemen. The main reason why the shorts probably shouldn’t be being made.
 
To those who almost obsess over the continuity this will be like finding an M&M in a box of raisins. You’re happy you found it, but mostly you’re just confused.
