YOu can’t really point at a scouter for any unicorn or alicorn and say “Look, they are more powerful.” Starswirl was THE unicorn when it came to creating spells, but claiming his raw power is more than Twilight? There you’d have to compare things like magical stamina, individual feats, etc. Starlight is a similar type of pony to Starswirl in that she does not give a shit about whether something is a good idea, she only cares about results. Telling her something is impossible only gets her to do it out of spite.
Even go see Deathbattle, who do their research on these characters for their fights, where one of the things mentioned about unicorn/alicorn magic is that they are all influenced by their emotions.
Actually, all ponies magic is tied to their emotions. They even mention that in the comics where Twilight mentions that her magic is influenced by her emotions.
I’mma say no to that. Isn’t her magical power tied to her emotions? That’s not very consistent. If it isn’t related to her cutie mark magic, I’ll assume this is just another bullsyay unicorn cutie mark that doesn’t actually mean anything.
