That’s exactly the problem with reusing the mane6 names though. The gen5 mane6 will be compared to the gen4 mane6 - I don’t think they can reach that level no matter how hard they try. Gen4 was lightning in a bottle.

To be fair,G4 AJ is already a whole different character from G1 “who’s a silly pony” Applejack.And i’m pretty sure you heard of G3 Rainbow Dash via memes,she was a Rarity-esque fashionista obsessed with rainbows because reasons.My point is,maybe the changes will suck but we have to keep in mind that the MLP characters personalities were never etched in stone and always changed from Gen to Gen.It’s only going to look like a 180° turn to bronies because G4 is the first gen to know such a massive mainstream success

I was at peace with the ending cause I know it can’t go on forever but you pull this on me!…… Now I am depressed! Usin’s Jackie to get at me is a meanie thing!

I think if I were to choose how the show ends and where everypony goes, the Mane Six would not all stick together. I would have some or all of them go their seperate ways to live their lives and fulfill their dreams.
 
Twilight obviously takes over as Princess of Equestria.
 
Rarity focuses on her now massively successful fashion business.
 
Rainbow Dash becomes a full-fledged Wonderbolt.
 
Pinkie Pie departs to travel Equestria (and perhaps beyond) with Cheese Sandwich, spreading joy and laughter to everycreature.
 
Fluttershy goes off to the unexplored jungles or another part of the world, to meet/befriend/protect many new species of animals.
 
Applejack might be the only one who stays in Ponyville, content with her life at Sweet Apple Acres.
 
As for everycreature else, I’m not sure. Feel free to come up with something.

My interest in G5 rests entirely on AJ not being changed too drastically.
