we also look at expression, listen to voice, and look for body language…. odd that I can pick up these cues a lot more with ponies than I can with humans…
 
honestly if you try looking past their body profile you will notice a lot more feelings towards them than you did before… I mean sure they are a horse in body type but they can speak our languages, they have a civilization and co-exist peacefully with at least 12 or 14 other races across the planet(kirin, changelings, seaponies, gryphons, dragons, minotaurs, hippogriffs, buffalo, yaks, crystal ponies, deer, Abyssinians{furry cat people}, and a few others I cant remember) all of them exist on the same planet and haven’t exterminated each other. they have good morals, basically like I said before they are more human than some actual humans plus they are psychically more advanced than us in every way as they tap into forces we cannot yet comprehend let alone control as they do… if anything they are more advanced than us but choose to have a low tech level because of what technology did to us(dont forget humans were present in g1 and most likely wiped themselves out) so basically not only would an interspecies relationship between a standard citizen of equus and a human be possible but it would be legally acceptable under the laws of both planets and morally acceptable for most of earth and all of equus(earth still has religious zealots who say that relationships can ONLY be between humans and nothing else)

Given that humans are geared to be attracted to curves i’d say ponies have got that going for them, also they are adorable and most humans are drawn to cute things in one way or another so sexual attraction is definately not out the window

Well, it would be odd if we found IRL ponies, horses, or other non-humans to be sexually attractive. But I’m pretty sure most of us here only enjoy these cartoons and draw the line at anything IRL. The reason for this is as ma3a said. These characters are pretty much completely human aside from physical appearance. They talk like us, act like us, they are capable of complex thought, emotion, relationships, they form settlements, own property, have jobs, use forms of currency, etc, etc.
 
So most of us don’t find them sexy because they’re ponies, but rather that they are people just like you and me. Just a different species is all.

That’s quite the essay. And an interesting point about their intelligence. I assume you’re fascinated by their abilities and such. However its just odd that part of your mind considers something non human or otherwise outside your own species to be sexy.

a few counter points… you seem to be unable to get past their appearance you think “it resembles a horse so it must BE a horse even in intelligence and potential” I look PAST physical appearance and see their mind… they are as intelligent as humans and as far as we know share languages with us… in fact a lot of characters from mlp are MORE human than some ACTUAL humans… so yeah I consider them equals to us in many respects and in others SUPERIOR to us… in what ways? oh lets see… for one rape is practically nonexistent in their society unlike humans where it happens all the time, murder is actually nonexistent in their society again unlike humans who slaughter each other in droves because they are mildly angry, oh and they share the planet with like 12 or 14 other races and they all get along better than humans do WITH THEMSELVES… their society has obviously surpassed ours long ago…. also sorry about going on a tangent… my point is that if the two worlds equus and earth somehow met I could pursue an interspecies relationship without being in violation of basic morality…
