Honestly if you use the most expensive tools right from the beginning  
most of the time you don’t know how to use it efficiently
 
I would recommend starting with some tutorials…
 
Can highly recommend “Draw with Jazza”  
He does great tutorials of the fundamentals of art
 
Also try looking around for “Pony Anatomy” to better understand the underlying structure.
 
Its your stylistic choice but if you don’t know the rules you can’t really break them and all looks wrong

Also the reason why my characters look like powerpuff girls is because I’m trying to make them combinations between ponies and powerpuff girls because I love both shows equally.

I don’t use ms paint I use photoshop.

Geez it’s like it’s drawn by a 12 year old on the school’s computer in MS Paint

Honestly art is really not about improvement it’s about being creative and that’s what I love doing and my art style is going to stay the way I like it.
