Or, more seasons. I have trouble coping with that, too. Everything, everypony and everycreature, seen in this show mean the world to me and, for me, everything else fades in comparison.  
I am anxious and twitchy lately because I fear the time that will come once it’s over. I desperately cling my hopes to it that G5 won’t be a reboot, but if it is one, then I fear the time that will come upon us.  
Right now, I am very afraid that everything will come crashing down on us after Season 9 is over and anxious that all we built will collapse.  
The fandom right now doesn’t make it any easier. For whatever reason, all the big YouTube uploaders refuse to dispute the current blocks of show song and scenes uploads for Season 9 that are currently happening, even though the same happened during Season 8 and Hasbro reinstated the videos just fine when the first disputes came in.  
This is what is shaking me the most right now. It’s the last season and now they stopped caring about uploading what they provided for years. I’m so disappointed.

Still having trouble coping with it ending at 9 seasons….they were so close to 10…a milestone few cartoons achieved.

You’re welcome! These games deserve the attention and with G4 ending, spreading the word about fan-made MLP: FiM content is what will let our G4 community survive in the long run.

Woah….I had no idea there was so many.  
Seems I got a lot of downloading and playing to do.  
As a fan of Metroidvania style games, Ponyvania sounds really interesting.

There are many! :D Let me file you in a little….. The biggest one to name is definitely “Legends of Equestria”. It has its own tag here, so you can easily look it up and see photos of the game.  
It’s an MMORPG set in Equestria and has locations available such as Ponyville, the Crystal Empire, ect. And a few original places. Sadly, it has only OC ponies as characters and the locations have been slightly renamed to avoid stepping on copyright. But the world is vast already, there are a ton of quests, a storyline, a huge crafting system with countless items and recipes and more. And of course many enemies and a working level-up, combat and skill system.  
Also regularly holds player-organized events to bridge the time between updates. Which happen rather sporadically every few months now because LoE is still in Open Beta, but there is lots to do for a new player.
 
The only real issue it has, is its moderation department. The mods of LoE are a power-abusive bunch who have frequently banned players for little to no reason, or just for voicing criticism about the game or how they do their job and an organized protest by a group of affected or concerned players via an open letter has done nothing to remedy the situation.  
There also have been other problems, such as the moderators breaching privacy by reading in on whispers and private conversations inside the game.  
The situation with the moderators makes playing LoE a bit of a risky endeavor, but the game itself is a lot of fun.

Other fan-made pony RPGs I know are “Nightfall”, “Story of the Blanks” (that one is VERY short and a remake was sadly cancelled, but what it manages to pull off in its short time is amazing), “Adventure of the Lunarbolts” (still in development), “Ponyvania”, “Legacy of the Pony”, “Derpy: Mystery of the Apple Thief”, “Daydreaming Derpy”, “Filly Fantasy VI” (pony version of FFVI, with a rewritten story and custom assets and graphics, also has a predecessor called “Pony Fantasy VI”) and “Rise of the Clockwork Stallions” (more a Jump n Run with RPG elements and they took their homepage down last year, but I archived the site with download links here).
