Good points. It’s also going to wreck havoc on FOSS software, which powers most of the internet, dozens of Operating Systems (including Android, which accounts for a majority of mobile phones) and thousands of applications.

Freedom of the Press isn’t free with filters.

One. They specifically state that fair use is not included. It stays at it was.  
Two. There is no free media. None. Everything belongs to someone and is influenced by someone and their ideas.  
THREE. Freedom of speech is in the constitution. It’s a right, not a privilege. It won’t destroy it at all. Sadly, it won’t even force people who get away with their “freedom of speech” when they offend others to be responsible for their right to free speech, which is sad.
 
Between the two of us, clearly you are the one who didn’t read either the articles of the directive nor the FAQ about it.

You clearly know nothing about what those articles will do to the internet. They will destroy free speech on the ’net, shut down independent media and clearly violate Fair Use.

I am pro free speech and I am supporting the articles. They not only let me work in my current way and share arts with you, they will now also protect me because I don’t have enough money to employ lawyers. Derpi won’t shut down because of those articles.

You’ve all heard about the Terrorist Content Regulation?
