That one teleportation gimmick that Twilight had triggered while trying to grab the Crystal Heart was a special case though.. That was an already existing trap and who knows how long ago it was created, or how much effort it took. He already had control of the Crystal Empire so there was enough time to construct a trap to keep it in place. And considering the Mane 6 just dug right on out of their trap suggests it is quite limited.. How much it is limited is not known though..

Regarding Flurry teleporting, I’d argue that Sombra could keep her from doing it, given he’s been shown to have powers that effect teleporting.

Flurry Heart was shown to be able to though so if Cadance couldn’t Flurry Heart was definitely capable of doing so.. But tbh.. If Flurry Heart could do it then Cadance probably should be able to as well..

I don’t think Cadance is able to teleport, or at least I can’t recall her ever doing so.

She could have teleported Flurry Heart to safety and then blast him..

Albeit if Flurry Heart’s efforts are anything to go by, a blast that small wouldn’t hurt Sombra at all. And what if he put Flurry in the way of Cadance’s blast?

Yeah, Shining knew full well neither he, nor Cadence, wanted Flurry to be hurt while trying to take down Sombra. Once Flurry was out of harm’s way, then Cadence could go all out.

I don’t want to use this against Cadance because I loved this moment from her but where was her warface when she saw Sombra hold her child?

Aw, look a that. All ready to fight, after it was all done.

Cadance has always been best princess since the S2 finale, and every appearance only reminds me I made the right choice.

Cadance really needs to just embrace her wild side more often.
 
I do love though that over the course of the series her being something of an adrenaline junkie has become one of her character traits.
