I’m certainly staying in the fandom … It was one of my first back in 5th grade (ish?), and I’ve been here since then. I won’t let it go.

To end a good show while it’s still good is a far better alternative to running it into the ground until it’s little more than an empty husk of its former self.

You guessed right. In this theoretical series, twilight is now the ‘Celestia/luna’ figure, very wise and confident, the rest of the mane six are her courtiers and have more experience under their belts (for example, rainbow dash is now the level headed captain of the wonderbolts, rarity is the head of a fashion empire with stores everywhere, etc.). They’re now indisputably ‘middle aged’ in mind and attitude. The cakes are now a retired old couple and their (now adult) kids are running the store. Ponyville itself is now a major city, and the school of friendship is like a long established and prestige institution with many alumni. And so on and so forth. This show centres on a new cast but the older characters are still there to appear once in a while.

So true that I’m not even surprised. Like I said before, as G4 is coming to a close, I’m not going ANYWHERE. There’s so much stuff I can do and so much things up ahead that there still is time to achieve. Fanart, PMVs, crossover ideas, attending to cons and meeting VAs, even making IRL brony friends which I came across to in my game program a week ago! Nothing is too soon as you take the first step to your future.

Isn’t that basically what’s happened to the Mane Six in the newer seasons? Or do you also wanna see, like, the CMC, the Cake twins, the Student Six, Flurry Heart, etc. as older adolescents and young adults?
