{NextGen}~ Mixed Encounter
Sombra stared down at the mare before him, the cool air and snow brushing against his dark pelt. An alicorn? Who was she? And what was she doing out here? With his hoove he tilted her head for him to see her better. She looked so familiar but at the same time she didn’t. Sombra let go of the mares face, letting it hit gently on the snow. The blizzard had slowed down, but it still covered most of the sight ahead. Sombra hesitated wether or not to help her. The cabin was not so far away, but should she take her there? What would she think if she saw him if she woke up? Did she know him? His story? Surely she had to come from the empire, but exactly who was she? Sombra started to walk away, but a voice in his head whispered to him.
*“Sombra, help me”
Sombra stopped dead in his tracks. He looked back to still see the pony unconcious. Sombras’s head started ringing and another whisper rang in his head. Sombra groaned, and a face before him flashed into the mares face.
*“Sombra please”
Sombra groaned, and a face before him flashed into the mares.
“Hope?”
Sombra asked desperately. The voice was gone, and he could only stare down at the mare on the snow. He groaned, but approached her and with his magic he placed her on his back, and carefully started walking back to the cabin. Upon arriving, he sighed and pushed the door open. When he was defeated, his soul attached its self to his horn, and when he reformed, his memories seemed to so fuzzy. But later on he remembered about his defeat, Cadence, that little dragon and….Hope.
Sombra layed down the mare on the floor and studied her face up close. She looked like Cadence, but she obviously wasn’t. Her pelt changed, and had she cut her hair? It was a different color as well. She had changed so much. She also looked younger. He wrapped her wings up, just in case she would like to flee. He inched his face closer, but at that very moment, she moved.
Flurry opened her eyes, her head was spinning and her body ached from the freezing snow. She rubbed her read as a headache came through her like a crashing wave. As she gained consciousness, she didn’t feel the snow under her or the blizzard. She opened her eyes and everything was dark, except for the two red glowing eyes before her. She stared in horror at them, they stared at her with a burning stare and as she studied the rest of his face, she concluded it wasn’t just a pony, this pony was massive. His pelt color was dark grey and his mane was just black as the night sky. And his horn, flaring an electric red magic, but it was curved. She had never seen a horn shaped like that, or for that matter, a pony like this. She examined him and he had scars covering him body.
“Who are you?”
Flurry flinched at the dark voice of the stallion. She didn’t know how to respond, she was still in shock, so she just stayed quiet. But that didn’t sit well with him. He stomped his large hoof on the ground and again Flurry flinched at the booming voice and his horn glowing red.
**“I asked you a question, WHO ARE YOU?!” **Sombra raised his voice in anger as she didn’t answer. He expected her to say Cadence, but he was surprised when he got something else.
“F-F-Flurry H-Heart.” He just stared at her in confusion. Flurry Heart? He did not know another alicorn had rose to power. Was she in hiding all this time? Sombra spoke in a low voice this time.
“Who should your parents be?” Flurry was shocked he didn’t know. Rumors about her were all around Equestria, but he really did not know. Not that it bother her but, still.
“I, I’m the daughter of w-who rule the Crystal Empire. Empress Mi Amore Cadenza and Emperor Shining Armor.”
Now it all made sense to Sombra, why she looked familiar. But, what was she doing here? What was she doing out and about in the freezing cold?
“Who are you?” Flurry couldn’t supress the question falling off her mouth. Sombra was well shocked, he spaced the distanced from Flurry and himself and just turned her back on her. She did not know who he was. So Cadence did not tell her, huh? Sombra stayed quiet for a while and he sat himself to look out of one of the windows.
Flurry just stared at him, did she do something? Flurry disregarded her gaze from the pony and to her wings. Had he bandaged her? Why did she bring her here? Flurry came to realize something. Who ever he was, had saved her. But why?
“W-why did you save me? From the blizzard?” Flurry asked, but Sombra just stayed still, not acknowledge her question.
Flurry sighed and made her way cautiously to him. He was looking out into the blizzard with no emotion on his face whatsovere. Flurry approached the stallion and just sat beside him, quietly.
“Thanks. For saving me.” Flurry said. He didn’t respond. Flurry sighed yet again.
“Sombra.”
Flurry perked up from the sound of his voice and just stared at him with patient eyes.
“What?” Flurry asked confused.
“My name is Sombra.”

Dun Dun Duuun! King Sombra here for you guys~ 😉
And yeah, I saw clips of King Sombra coming back, but his attitude in more of a spoiled child and his voice was more high pitched than his previous voice (when he was first defeated), though I was fangirling all the time everytime he would talk, or walk, or would do that nice grin of his 😉
Buuut that will not affect my headcannon on Sombra in this story, I have a different story for him in my AU 😁
Edit: whoah whoah whoah whoah it has been a long time, I really didn’t have the power to write this diologue and it feels kind of lame :/ but I still hope you guys like this what is this, chapter 6?
Also I guess I should make it into a more comic style with various drawing in each drawing, what do you guys think?
