So I saw a pick online of a genderbent Sunset Shimmer and it inspired me to make a Sunset Shimmer like character for my mane six. A while back, I made a pony named Selena Moonlight who was going to be my group’s Sunset Shimmer, but I decided to make her a guy (so to speak) because why not. So I came up with Dusk Blaze. Dusk Blaze was a power hungry pony who wanted to rule Equestria. He was Twilight’s former student before my ponysona, Sunrise Dazzle. I think this all would take place years in the future just to keep any conflicting ideals from happening. Anyway, he corrupted the Elements of Harmony not only for dark power, but to ensure that he wouldn’t be stopped using them (that’s why he has them in the picture). Of course, thanks to Sunrise and his friends, he discovers that friendship is true magic and the most powerful form of magic. I wanted to do dark magic with his horn because I thought I would be neat and show the corruption of the Elements, but I don’t know how to vector MLP dark magic and I wanted to show his original aura color
