Do you mean Simpson–Golabi–Behmel syndrome?
I can imagine that when its finished, the first wave of pony AI videos are gonna be full of swears and other adult jokes.
Of course there’s a Steamed Hams video based on this example. The only problem with the voices is that they can’t raise the tone and pitches of their voices. But I guess AI programs can only do so much.
Give a Machine Learning algorithm a few hours of someone’s voice, and it will be able to imitate that voice with surprising accuracy (including words the real person never uttered). /mlp/ is currently cutting and transcribing all the show’s dialogue, giving the ML software all the data it need to imitate any of the main characters (the less talkative ones will be a problem tho).
Here is a dumb example made from Obama & Trump voices.

Lol no, we have three shows with Simpson syndrome. That’s actually up to true fan to continue G4 life, not Hasbro’s.
But I wish Hasbro could have provided us with over a decade of G4 content.
9 is just the end of Hasbro’s content.
Ponies will last for as long as one us is still here to write stories or draw stuff.
